Jacaranda seeds

Before UCLA, I’d never heard of this beautiful drought resistant tree. They were planted all around my dorm building and the building itself was called Jacaranda. Now that I’m in San Diego, I see this tree all over my neighborhood. Today I’ve picked up a seed pod and decided to try growing them.

Golden Kiwi My parents in law came to visit us during my finals week to take care of the baby. They love to eat golden kiwi and bought so many there are still a few left days after they left. Today I decided to try it for baby food and Claire loves it!

I finally decided to pull the trigger and buy some patio furniture and spent the entire day searching for the right one.  IKEA is sold out of complete dining sets, Lowes did not have anything I liked, Target is also sold out.  Who knew outdoor furniture sold out so fast?  It’s not even summer yet and these stores are changing the inventory to back to school!  Tomorrow I’m going to try Crate and Barrel but if I still can’t find anything, I’ll have to take my chances and order online.
